A male voice close harmony chorus

Daytones is a group of men who entertain a variety of audiences across Yorkshire with songs, stories and with a few jokes along the way.

We socialise together, we're all good friends, we laugh together, we rehearse together, we sing together and we generally enjoy ourselves.

Over recent months we've sung at an arts festival, various men's forums, in a Marks and Spencer store, at a 100th birthday party and more. Previously we were honoured to sing at an Archbishop of York's charity concert in York Minster. We usually perform one concert per month.

Rehearsals take place every Tuesday in Clifford Village Hall, Albion Street, Clifford between 10 am and noon. Come along and meet us, see what we do and how we do it. You'll be greeted warmly and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with us. We might even throw in a biscuit or two! How's that for an offer! What have you got to lose?

We also raise money for good causes. We have raised over £5,000 to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Our current charity is St Gemma's Hospice in Leeds and in February we entertained some of their patients and presented a cheque to help with their excellent work. We have received a Yorkshire Evening Post award for community service.

The Daytones are always on the lookout for new members. So if you enjoy the company of like-minded men, please get in touch. Singing and entertaining is healthy too. It's been proven. So by joining us you will be in better health as well.

Don't worry if you THINK you can't sing, or if you're concerned over learning the songs - we can and will help you and you will learn at a pace comfortable for you.

We have a great repertoire of songs and are regularly adding new ones. We'll provide you with all you need so that you can have some fun, make some great friendships, and help good causes.
